On the hook

James always had one goal – to destroy his enemy, Peter Michaels. And when Peter's young daughter, Wendy, unexpectedly appears in James's bar, he seizes the opportunity. To seduce the girl and use her for revenge. The plan is perfect, but at some point, everything goes awry. James has to look for a traitor among his own, and the revenge plan becomes increasingly blurry because James himself starts to see Wendy as more than just a pawn in a dangerous game.

Most of Wendy's life has been very lonely, as after her mother's death, her father became estranged from his children. Until one evening out with friends at a bar becomes the beginning of an exciting romance with the mysterious and caring James. She knows James is dangerous. Yet she cannot get rid of this passion. As the relationship heats up and Wendy learns more about the world James lives in, she no longer knows who she is falling in love with: the man named James or the monster nicknamed Hook.
