My Dark Vanessa

Fifteen-year-old schoolgirl Vanessa Wye was a surprisingly kind and cheerful girl when a mature English teacher burst into her life. Forty-two-year-old Jacob Strane made the heroine believe that the relationship between them was based on mutual desire. The girl did not see the real situation: her eyes were veiled by the man's sweet actions, which were actually the beginning of continuous abuse.

Seventeen years passed, and now Vanessa is a grown woman. Tragically, the novel's main character is still convinced that there was something more and more important between her and the teacher than passionate interest.
