Tell Me the Truth. Dialogues on the Meaning of Life is a conversation between Paolo Asolan, a professor at the Pontifical Lateran University, and His Beatitude Sviatoslav, the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. The book was first published in Italy in 2018.
In the dialogue on the meaning of life, two thinkers discuss what/Who is truth. On the pages of the book, the reader will immediately notice how their dialogue brings together and harmoniously combines two Christian worlds – Western and Eastern – becoming the "two lungs" of a single organism – the Church of Christ. The Paschal dialogue between a representative of the academic environment of Western culture and the Primate of the largest Eastern Catholic Church is based on three theological virtues: faith, hope, and love. For Professor Asolan, it is important to understand how these three theological virtues manifested themselves in the life and martyric witness of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, hence his main interest: who is the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, what is its spiritual heritage, history, and most importantly – what can it offer to the Western secularized world. The golden thread running through the entire dialogue is the question of truth in the age of "post-truth."
