The novel "For Cases" is a story by Ukrainian writer and Bukovinian feminist Olha Kobylianska about social inequality and the being of women in a patriarchal society. The author's story is an important example of the artistic processes in Ukraine in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, in which Kobylianska explores the deep internal conflicts of her main character, Aglaia-Felicitas.

At the center of the plot is a young woman who faces a life choice between her own happiness and creative self-realization. She is full of doubts and aspirations, depicting the struggle between social expectations and personal ideals. The light of Ukrainian modernism is reflected in the story, creating a delicate balance between the real and the fantastical, where art becomes a means of self-discovery.
